Bystander (2023)

Bystander is about the changing experience of watching the war in Ukraine online, war fatigue and digital bystanding.

Made on iPhone, the film combines the landscapes of the internet with those shaped by previous conflict in neighbouring Poland.

Bystander had its worldwide premiere as an exclusive digital exhibition curated by Video Art Festival Turku (VAFT) from 15 February to 31 March 2024.

Nightlife (2020)

Nightlife is an art film made from the structures, stories and surfaces of the City of London, one of the most uncompromising commercial environments on the planet.

Immediate and intimate, Nightlife is the second of the filmmaker’s iPhone films. It premiered at the Tampere Film Festival 2022. Screenings include MFW8 in Bali and the Slow Film Festival 2023 in London.

Nightlife was voted an audience favourite at VAFT 2022.

True Love Story (2017)

True Love Story is an art film written, shot and edited entirely on iPhone. It concerns a relationship begun on a dating app and lived, in a blurred way, on and offline.

The piece received its UK Premiere at the Aesthetica Film Festival 2019. It opened VAFT 2018 and has since been screened internationally, including at the Tampere Film Festival 2022. In was part of the programme for Underneath the Floorboards (8th edition) which ran online from April 2023.
